Storage Tips
Store in perforated plastic bag in refrigerator. Will store up to three weeks.
Only wash right before consuming, not before storing.
Remove any ugly outer leaves before washing.
Culinary Tips
We find many people overcook brussels sprouts! We find the key to a delicious sprout is a good golden sear, bright green color and just fork tender.
Depending on the size, cut in half, and in a bowl toss with a couple big glugs of olive oil and coarse salt.
You can pan sear in a cast iron pan with the lid on and finish the sprouts in a 400 degree oven until perfectly cooked, check with a fork often.
Try thinly slicing and tossing into salads with apples and a dressing that contains acid and oil.
