Storage Tips
Remove leaves promptly and store in sealed plastic bag for up to 10 days. Celery leaves can also be frozen for use in soups, sauces and stocks.
For long term storage, wrap celery stalks in tin foil and seal closed. Can be stored for up to three weeks.
For short term storage, pace celery (with greens still attached) in a glass jar filled with an inch of water. Refresh water daily, and cut off and oxidized stem tips. Keep in cool place in your kitchen out of direct sunlight and away from any ripening fruit. Can be stored for up to three days like this
Culinary Tips
Slice and add to stir-fries for a fabulous crunch and flavor
Throw slivers of celery into any salad, along with some of the leaves.
Add celery and leaves to green smoothies or juices
Egg, chicken, tuna or chickpea salads with fresh celery are divine.
