Hinona Kabu Turnips

 Storage Tips

  • For longest storage life, take off rubber band and twist off the turnip roots to separate from the greens.

  • Store roots and greens in sealed plastic bag. Use greens immediately and roots will store up to two weeks.

Culinary Tips

  • Hinona Kabu turnips can be eaten raw in salads, sliced up for finger food or roasted and grilled. The flavor is slightly sweet, very succulent and buttery, with a little spice.

  • The turnip greens are delicious and can be sautéed with garlic and topped with lemon and parmesan.

  • Great snack eaten alone, just dip in hummus or pesto and enjoy as a finger food!
