Hinona Kabu Turnips
Storage Tips
For longest storage life, take off rubber band and twist off the turnip roots to separate from the greens.
Store roots and greens in sealed plastic bag. Use greens immediately and roots will store up to two weeks.
Culinary Tips
Hinona Kabu turnips can be eaten raw in salads, sliced up for finger food or roasted and grilled. The flavor is slightly sweet, very succulent and buttery, with a little spice.
The turnip greens are delicious and can be sautéed with garlic and topped with lemon and parmesan.
Great snack eaten alone, just dip in hummus or pesto and enjoy as a finger food!
