Culinary Tips
Bell peppers are great eaten raw dipped into hummus, or cut in half and stuffed with your favorite rice/protein mixture and thrown in the oven. We also love to chop them up and add to any stir-fry or roast/sauté or grill peppers and onions for fajitas in the hot summer months. Looking for a weekend breakfast idea for peppers? Try making shakshuka, which is a delicious pepper/tomato/egg recipe.
Other varieties of sweet peppers we grow are Jimmy Nardello peppers, which are extrememly sweet and a little bit goes a long way in any recipe, and these are the best for a vivid, sweet pepper flavor. We also grow Mini Bell Peppers which are best just for snacking and go great on charcuterie boards, or just eaten fresh as a crunchy snack.
Remove seeds and stem before eating.
